Almost Heaven offers 2 award winning locations with the most unique & breathtaking mountain top Ceremony & Reception facilities in Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains. Enjoy your ceremony outside & move into the Pavilion for your On Site Reception. Both locations offer over 2500 square feet and unobstructed views of the mountains, Gatlinburg & the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

Please remember to bring your Marriage License & Rings!

Your Wedding & Reception will be the last event scheduled for the day. The Above & Beyond package you will have access to the Pavilion & Grounds the 1 hour prior to the Ceremony until midnight. If you feel like you may need additional time for set up, please call for pricing.

The Bride & Groom with the Bridal Party need to arrive at the Sky or Garden Location 1 hour before the Ceremony. Your arrival time is important ~ don't be late. The Bride may get dressed in the Bridal Dressing Room ~ everyone else needs to arrive dressed & ready. The Bridal Dressing Room is for the Bride only. After the Bride is dressed, the Wedding Coordinator will explain the Ceremony and then photographer will start taking photographs in the Dressing Room.

While the Bride is getting ready, the Coordinator will walk the Groom & Wedding Party through the Ceremony and introduce the Groom to the Minister.

Your appointed assistants will help the Almost Heaven Staff set up the centerpieces inside the Pavilion in the hour before the Ceremony. Please have your centerpieces pre-assembled & ready to set on the tables. Your Guests will not be allowed inside the Pavilion until the setup is complete.

Please have your Guests arrive 30 minutes prior to the Ceremony time. Please include a map & directions to the location in your invitation. Weddings that start late will be billed for an additional hour of catering.

Photos will be taken during the Ceremony and Reception highlights. No other photos or videos are allowed on Almost Heaven Property while our professional photographer is working. Please advise your Guests in advance to eliminate a $200.00 charge for photos & $200.00 for videos. Please tell your Guests to leave their cameras & video equipment in their cars until after our photographer leaves. An announcement will be made when photography & video is allowed during the later part of the Reception.

Guests will need to go directly into the Reception site after the Ceremony & Family Photographs have been taken so the photographer can focus on taking as many great photos of the Bride & Groom as possible.

Once the photographer is finished taking pictures outside, the couple will meet back in the Bridal Dressing Room with the coordinator to pickup your license and talk with the DJ and Minister.

The following is for Receptions that Almost Heaven caters. If you are providing your own catering, the Almost Heaven staff including the photographer will leave after the Ceremony and photos are complete. You may provide your own catering Sunday through Thursday.

***If your reception is with us, we encourage the Guests to have appetizers (if provided) while you are taking photos or begin the buffet which ever you choose.***

After the Bride and Groom have been announced and once everyone has eaten or close to being finished, the cake cutting will take place.

If you are having any special dances, this will take place while everyone is enjoying your cake and can focus on you.

If you want to throw your bouquet and/or garter this will take place shortly after the cake cutting and dances. You may want to consider ordering a toss bouquet.

Once this is complete, the coordinators and photographer will leave and the DJ will take over. Then your Guests may take all of the photographs they wish.

Please send us as many details as you can. Final Guest count & payment is due 60 days prior to the Ceremony date.

Our Coordinators will be contacting you for more detailed information 60 days prior to your wedding. They will be able to answer any questions at that time. However, they are not able to change or remove anything from your package with the exception of adding additional Guests.
